There are two types of tools which should be used in assessing and evaluating the project.
Rubrics, which are given to the student at the start of the project, that make clear what is needed and expected.
Peer or teacher assessment at the end.
The teacher needs to answer the following questions.
What went right?
What did the students learn?
Did higher-level thinking play an important part in the process?
What could be improved?
